1080 baits are continuously used in this area by station owners and DPAW properties.
Caution should be taken at all times.
It is in your best interest to keep your dogs on leashes at all times and to place muzzles (without tongue gaps) on your dogs while out and about to prevent accidental exposure to poisons.
Please be aware that birds can pick up and move baits close to roads and within the town site.
Although we have included a first aid document for dogs exposed to 1080 poison the likelihood of surviving ingestion is extremely low - nil. Prevention is the only reliable way of protecting your beloved pets.
