Alice Atkinson Caravan Park
Sandstones only caravan park, The Alice Atkinson Caravan Park, has 40-sites set in pleasant surroundings centrally located in the town. The park features first class ablution facilities (for park residents only) that also cater for the disabled, along with coin-operated washing machines and dryers. There is a BBQ area with picnic tables, a well-equipped camp kitchen, playground and friendly outback service.
Dogs on a leash are welcome. (No dogs allowed in units)
Dump point available (there is a charge for those not staying at the park)
Please note that there are no ATMs in Sandstone and Telstra is the only service provider.

Accommodation Units
There are two brand new units at the caravan park finished at the end of 2024.
These two-bedroom, one-bathroom units can sleep up to four with a double bed in one room and two singles in the other. They have a fully equipped kitchen, large lounge area with satellite tv and a shaded verandah.

Outback Accommodation
Sandstone’s Outback Accommodation offers double ensuites and single shared rooms, communal kitchen and a BBQ area with a wood campfire. Continental breakfast is included with your room. Bookings are welcome all year round with Eftpos facilities available. Please note that there are no ATMs in Sandstone.

The Breakaway
This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house is located centrally in Sandstone, an easy walk to everywhere in town.
A great option for couples or small groups to stay in quality and comfort with full amenities. The house has a large lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom with separate toilet and 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room and two singles in the other.

Old School House Group Accommodation
This rugged style accommodation is available for group bookings and is located in the Old school building with a playground and small oval nearby.

Free Camping / Overnight bays
Peter Denny Lookout
An overnight stop between Sandstone and Leinster. You must be fully self-sufficient.
Note that there is no telephone reception once you leave town.
Lake Mason
A free camping area North of Sandstone along the gravel road to Wiluna. It was a cattle & sheep station but has now been turned into a conservation area. Take with you everything that you may need (food, water, tyre changing equipment etc) and please take your rubbish with you when you leave.
